Mr. Andrew Small

Andrew Small III was born August 10, 1966 to Sandra and Andrew Small Jr. in New Orleans, LA. He is the eldest of four sibling brothers. He attended school at Dogan Elementary, Fleming Jr. High, Phyllis Wheatley High School and Prairie View A&M University. In 1985, he married Pamela Patton. To that union, four sons were born. Andrew IV, Adrian, Aaron and Arius. Andrew worked for Reliant, Shell, and various other companies until he found his passion and profession in the moving business. He became a self-contractor and worked for most major van lines nationwide. In 2016, he became permanently employed with FOXX Movers in Katy, TX, until his health failed and was unable to work. Andrew accepted Christ in his early 20’s and became a member of St John UMC where he was baptized under the leadership of Pastor Rudy Rasmus. On October 24, 2009, he married Debbie Y. Ray. Together they joined Greater Grace Outreach Church where Andrew served on the Usher Board and loved volunteering with the outreach food ministry. He served under the leadership of Bishop E.L. Usher until his homegoing. Andrew was preceded in death by his younger brother, John Wesley Small and older brother, Johnny (Kenneth) Curtis. He leaves to cherish his memories: his caring and loving mother, Sandra Small; his devoted and beloved wife, Debbie Small; sons: Andrew Small IV (Sheena), Adrian Small (LaToya), Aaron Small (LaToya), and Arias Small (Rosetta) (their mother, Pamela); stepdaughter: Dwalunda Alexander (Jonathan); stepson: Keith D. Ray II; son: Raul Wallace; adopted daughters Megan and Myesha Deckard (their mother Margaret), two brothers: Andre Small (Dewanna) and Earl Small St. (Shalonda); Five nephews: Andre Small, Dedric Richardson, Christopher Watson, Earl Small Jr. and John W. Small Jr.; Four nieces: Brittney Williams, Ashley Small, Alexis Small, and Johnnetria Small; one great uncle: Alton Colar; one great aunt: Shirley Lawless; seven aunts: Debra Hilton (Willie), Dale Bell, Sheila Johnson, Vanessa Bolden (Michael), Pamela Emilien, Anquenette Hayes and Kim Hayes; 14 grandchildren: Andrew Small V, Adrian Small Jr., Aaron Small Jr., Aaronlyn Small, Avin Small, Avery Small, Aubrey Small, Aria Small, Aiden Small; step grandchildren Le’Ana Simpson, Makayla, Ashton, Cierra and Trinity Alexander; and a host of other relatives and friends.
