Mr. Ray Robertson

"Obituary\r\n\r\nMr. William Ã¢â‚¬Å“RayÃ¢â‚¬Â Robertson was born January 5, 1960 in Houston, Texas to Delores Day Robertson and Samuel Robertson. He was the 5th child of 6 children born to this marital union of 2 brothers and 3 sisters-Henry Lee Robertson, Sharon Robertson, Brenda Robertson, Karen Robertson and Aaron Ã¢â‚¬Å“BenÃ¢â‚¬Â Robertson.\r\n\r\nRay accepted Christ when he was 8 years old being baptized by Rev. Willie Paul at Lilly Grove Missionary Baptist Church located in Houston, Texas.\r\n\r\nRay didnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t care much for school but at an early age he figured out he was mechanically inclined to build and fix anything with a motor. MaDear and Daddy kept Western Auto in business by purchasing a new lawnmower every summer. Ray would take it apart and say he was fixing it because it was broken. Somehow the lawnmower motor would be a part a new moped or go-cart that he built from scratch.\r\n\r\nHe stayed busy with his self-developed construction, maintenance and automotive skills until he was diagnosed with renal failure in January 2009. He loved a family get-together and although he would say Ã¢â‚¬Å“I will try and make it but I donÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t have any gas.Ã¢â‚¬Â Somehow he would drive up and have everyone laughing.\r\n\r\nAlthough Ray was never married and had no children, he adopted a host of nieces-Yronda Jackson, Keisha Johnson, and Ebonie Archer-Ware Chemalvis Ware and a nephew-Samuel Fulford, great-nieces-Kemetria Lilly, Celenna Spurs, Raenesha Spurs and Ellissa Ware a great great niece-Robin Shelvin as his own. He dearly loved his family.\r\n\r\nRay is preceded in death by his parents-Samuel Robertson and Delores Day Robertson and 1 brother-Henry Lee Robertson.\r\n\r\nHe leaves to cherish his memories 3 sisters-Sharon Robertson, Brenda Robertson and Karen Robertson; 1 brother-Aaron Ã¢â‚¬Å“BenÃ¢â‚¬Â Robertson and a host of nieces, a nephew, cousins, other relatives and friends.\r\n"
