Sharon Denise Sapp

"The Life & Legacy of \r\nSharon Denise Sapp\r\n\r\nSharon Denise Sapp was born November 3, 1958 to Isaac deceased and Exie B. Sapp in Shreveport, Louisiana at Confederate Memorial Hospital. The family moved to Houston in 1966 and Sharon attended W. E. Rogers Elementary, Northwood Middle School and graduated from Forest Brook High School in 1976. She confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at Greater Jerusalem Baptist Church in 1972 by the late Rev. Leo Daniels. She later joined Fontaine First Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. John H. Brown and was a faithful servant until her death.\r\n\r\nSharon attended Texas WomenÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s University in Denton, Texas and later became a Respiratory Therapist. She gave 29 years of service to Texas ChildrenÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Hospital until her health failed and she took early retirement in 2004. \r\n\r\nSharon was a loving caring daughter, sister, aunt and friend and took special care of many people including her niece-Shatoi and her great nephew-Jordan. She had a kind spirit and a cheerful heart. She had a special love for porcelain dolls and would purchase one each year to add to her collection. She always had a smile that was infectious and could light up any room. She was a true woman of God and allowed her spirit to lead her path.\r\n\r\nShe is preceded in death by her father, step-father, brother, sister, uncle, aunt and grandparents.\r\n\r\nOn the morning of July 5, 2013, at 11:25 a.m. the Angel of Silence came into SharonÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s room at Houston Hospice House and took her home to be with her Heavenly Father. Her soul winged at flight from the world of sorrow to a place of eternal rest. \r\n\r\nShe leaves to cherish her memories her loving mother-Ms. Exie B. Hodge; 2 sisters-Regina Hodge-Cay of Houston, TX and Sharon Adams of Madison, AL; 2 uncles-Pell Malone of Saginaw, MI and Willie Small, Jr. of Shreveport, LA; 1 special daughter niece-Shatoi Eaurl; special son nephew-Javier Kiera and nephew-Jonathan; great nephew-Jordan and great nieces-Jaede, Jaemi, Aniyah and Taylor; god sisters-Diangela Daniels of Atlanta, GA, Angela Reason and Keisha Stamps, both of Houston, TX; very special friends-Reginald Thomas, Lenora Mathis, Tchernavia Williams, Shenna Williams and Vivian Allen who loved her dearly and a host of relatives and friends.\r\n"
